I found a backpack in San Francisco that was open and contents scattered on the sidewalk. I collected everything I could see and have been trying to get in contact with the owner. I assume someone broke into the car the family was driving because it happens all the time in San Francisco. There was a laptop case but no laptop. Their is however an external hard drive that seems to have a time machine backup on it which may be helpful to the owner. There are other items also, various medicines, device chargers, books including a very nice Koran. When I saw the passport belonging to Reim I was reminded of my mother Amina who is from Morocco. Looking at these passports was like looking at my familys passports and I would like to give this family what I found and hope they can feel that San Francisco has good people also.

Just heard that you are now required to get a Visa before going to Egypt. Can this be done online?
I wrote to the Egypt Consulate in LA 2 weeks ago asking about requirements for Birth Certificate issued to US born a child from Egyptian Parents. Total disregard,no answer. It seems that Consulate Employees are still on the old system. No services what so ever. I will write to the foreign Minister, I hope he is different. Said Shehata
Hi, I just need to inquire some information about a divorce. I married in October 13, 2004 in Egypt. I live in the USA and I don't know how to get a divorce from Egypt. My husband abandoned me last June, 2014. And I haven't heard from him. He is an Egyptian and I don't know if he is in Egypt or USA. Could you please help me. Thank you very much.

I am so disappointed to find out that the Egyptian Consulate in San Francisco has been closed and moved to Los Angeles. Where do people in San Francisco and the surrounded cities get their services? Los Angeles is too far away. Now we can't even vote for the new president and I am so disappointed. Why can't you open a Representtive Bureau to implement the necessary/important events and services such as Passport renewals, elections, power of attorneys, etc......Please consider the needs of the Egyptian People living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Thank you!
