SHOCKING EXPERIENCE
I have been trying since 10h30 and is now 12.40 with absolutely no help at all from the Spanish Consulate office to obtain information re a holiday visa. The reception was shocking, rudeness, abruptness and without any warning cancelled our conversation (three phone calls) as the gentleman could not follow the conversation in English. Good luck to the next applicant.

Processing Time?
Is there express processing available for Spanish visas for any nationality? Can you get a Spanish visa from any Australian Spanish Consulate?

Horrendous customer service
Shocked, embarassed and insulted by the customer service like most of the other commentators here. Not only terrible to me but also my mother on several occasions, particularly when I heard blatant rudeness in Spanish when they thought I only spoke English. Completely unhelpful and dreading having to call again which is unfortunately unavoidable.

Embarrassing
I dread the throught of having to deal with the Spanish Consulate in Sydney for any reason. I'm Spanish and proud of my heretage but the employees of this consulate are an embarressment to Spain. I have never seen more useless, incompetent and uneducated people in such a position in my life !!!! I'm onle consoled by the knowledge that most of these people are NOT Spanish but South Americans attempting to fill the shoes.

Sydney Office Staff
I am in complete agreement with Valeria and Laura. The Sydney Office would have to be staffed by some of the most arrogant people on the planet. "Rude" is an understatement; they are an embarrassment and should be removed.
