Pathetic embarassing embassy
The staff at that embassy are allowed to get away with murder, almost as if that embassy has been forgotten by the authorities in SA. Custodio is too stupid to realize that it doesn't work like that in SA or at any other countries' embassies. Its common for stupid people with jobs like hers to behave like that when they are given a tiny bit of influence over other peoples lives. They abuse their power. The embassy is hopelessly inefficient, wastes peoples' time and they are arrogant and rude. Custodio is a small-minded little fool.

Unknown, wish you had a name but anyhow, whats funny is in that Embassy South African national was so rude to his fiancees, this man was talking to Filipino spouse with so much disrespect. A lady came out from Embassy told him not to undermine Filipinos and other people demanded the man apologize to all of us in that queue. I was surprised, coz the lady look like South African & was so proud. High five Embassy!!!

I work with a tourist agency and our company apply regularly to the South African Embassy in RCBC. Leila is professional and expedite visa or permits in time. I am wondering and agree with Sherwin why only people with fiancee application are complaining. Remember any country including Philippines will not allow people who are not self sustainable to visit their country. Sherwin is correct you need to prove yourself that you have funds to get a visa. It is not just a giver-way or freebies because you have sponsor.

Hi guys; I hear what you all are saying, but why is it a bunch of you complaining??? I am not accountable to anyone just like the rest of you I am expressing my view and from the same embassy as you all claim to visit. I still persist as a Filipino, and not Leila since I am male for your info Chris,maybe like other complainers, you need as well do some introspection. If you were treated with this alleged disrespect, what did you do? From your posting you seem to be as well insecure, and maybe that is why no one responds to your complains in South Africa

both. i will email more people in the next few days as well... coz i think it's not just Leila but all the staff!! from their bulldog-like security guard to the higher secretaries. they SHOULD do something about it coz it affects your country's credibility and tourism!!

@Shelby
Yes Shelby, I emailed him yesterday. Said it's very urgent. No reply yet.
In the mid-term, my family, I and others in South Africa will be taking action to expose this Custodio person and the devastation she's causing in people's lives. But I have a feeling there's more to this. Why isn't the ambassador doing anything? I've never come across such a disgrace at any embassy I've dealt with.
I don't know what is more shocking... the horror experiences listed here or Costudio's amateurish self-glorifying puppet-posts.

hey Chris
i agree with you. my husband who is a South African citizen also experienced what you did and most probably we experienced before what you are experiencing now. and it's horrible!! and they dont care about that at all.

have you contacted Mr Jackie McKay already???
because he replied to me and asked for more information and said he will look through this problem. it would be a help and will be much appreciated if you contact him as well and tell your story :)
