Portuguese citizenship for my son
Hello, My wife is a Portuguese citizen. How long would it take for my 15 year old son to become a Portuguese citizen? would it take less than a week or two weeks? Do I need to bring my son to the Consulate? Is there a cost?

Renewing citizenship
My mom was born in Portugal, and I was wondering whether it was possible for her to renew her citizenship. Portuguese was her first language, but her fluency has likely deteriorated in the forty years that she has lived in Canada. This is something that she would like to do, but simply does not have the time to look into. I don't speak the language myself; the extent of my ability is the occasional, "Obrigada signora". I was just wondering if anyone knew how to go about the renewal process, as I cannot read Portuguese.
Thank you.
