I have sponsored my spouse nov 2013 got approved feb2014 they said I would have my spouses PR by Oct 2014 does anyone know the real timeframe of applications this is getting stupid why does it take so long my spouse has a WP and a Permanent job but they still refused his Visa???? Can someone tell me why Kingston is sooo slow
If your mother and brother are living in Canada, and are Permanent Residents or Citizens, they will need to start a new application to sponsor you.

For a student visa in Canada you are required to apply to a college or university in Canada and obtain an acceptance letter. Then in order to submit an application for a study permit, you will need to prove that you have the funds to pay the tuition costs, and living expenses in Canada. They require that you have this money upfront, and the international student fees are usually much more expensive then tuition fees for Canadian citizens. You will find this information under "international student fees" on the website of whatever college or university you are applying to.
