A man come from Canada in 2012 and married me we know each other from school days everything was going on fine until 2014 I stop hearing from him I know nothing about him now and he his there collect money with the marriage certificate it seems that all he did need and I ask him to divorce me and he say he will not how can I get some help please
My 3 kids applied for visas did biometrics in June heard nothing since.
I have apply for a visitor visa in 2016 and was refused. I have been working for the government for thirteen years, I own my property and house. I have one child. My sent me a invitation letter. The paper that I received from the embassy states that.i will not leave Canada at end of my stay,travel history,personal assets and financial status,don't have sufficient funds including income or assets.my son is there so will they say now. I see people who don't have a job no income and get Canada visa. Life is unfair to the hard working people who want to visit their family and can't get a visa. Sad.

Went and did my interview and at the end I was given back my daughter and I passports saying that they will contact me within 2wks with a final decision...

I writing seeking some form of advice I have a child he resides in jamaica and I'm currently in the United states, his father wants to file for him however I refuse his request because frankly I don't trust him taking my son to another country I have no access to. I'm very concerned that he might try forge documents and take my son from jamaica without me knowing I have contacted the Canadian embassy in jamaica and I'm yet to hear a response back and this is a urgent matter. Any advice would be appreciated.
