I humbly submit this request on behalf of Youth Empowerment Initiative Uganda.a community based organization formed by a group of organized, innovative and determined youth in Soroti District.this is anon profit organization with a mission to enhancing efforts of the youth to attain socioeconomic aspirations through self help initiatives and capacity building.YEI Uganda is currently implementing a child protection project on prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV/AIDS (PMTCT) in one of the suburbs in the District with support from UK based fund Positive Action for Children's Fund (PACF). the organization intends to diversify and expand its project activities to the vulnerable youth on areas of entrepreneurship and skills development,Agriculture,education, human rights,sports and other areas so as to bring more youth on board.Due to limited resources the organization is finding it hard to a achieve its vision.this is why we are trying to step up our mobilization efforts to involve the embassy in the resource mobilization so as to strengthen the organization to become strong platform for the youth in the Teso sub-region and the country at large.
