the letter from uk border agency was a scam. the uk mission in abu dhabi is not a high commission. the word is travel documents and if travelling was correct it would have 2 ls.

Hi I'm writing to see if I can obtain a renewal of my British passport in the USA by going to the consulate in USA.my purse was stolen with my green card and my passport is expired.I'm currently waiting for appointment to replace my green card however I can not renew drivers licence that was also stolen with valid I'd.it says if I send passport to the UK it will take 4 weeks to get back.I need it back sooner so need to know if I can drive somewhere in the USA and replace it like we can in the UK.I live in Indiana.

General Visit to the UK
I am a student at Purdue. I am from Jordan. I am planning to go to the UK in November. I am planing to apply for the UK general visit visa through indianapolis UK consulate. What documents do I need to present? the letter from the school, any specific statement that they need to state? my previous passport is not with me, is this critical? is the application done online? do i have the How would i obtain the appointment with the honorary consulate, online or by phone? on average how long would it take to obtain the visa?
