I am a British national on holiday in zanzibar i have experienced difficulty apon my arrival to zanzibar from zanzibar police and immigration after stamping my visa the put me in a room and abused me and demanded money from me they said unless i paid them they will make it very difficult for me to leave the country i tried to contact the British high commission and i received no help they kept telling me someone will get in touch but until now nobody did and im due to travel next week, i thought if a British national experience difficult this was the department to contact maybe i was wrong I'm trying to take this matter up with uk for any assistance
