E Visa, Muscat to Dubai onroad
Dear Omani residents,

Here two cents from my side.

Dont you worry about the e-visa if its not processed, you apply online, if still in process, go ahead and tell them the same. The UAE qauthorities are very freindly and imedietely provide you VISA on arrival.

Just to share my story : I applied for evisa 25 days back. They asked for more documents for my wife, daugther and me. I reuploaded again for all three of us.

Result- my daugther got the e-visa next day. And they asked my wife and me to provide more documents.

I uploaded it, after 5 days, they asked the same documents again. I did again.

You dont believe it, they have asked again however, now i have finished my Dubai trip.

The silver line- the UAE Border Authorities knows the system is still not perfect and thet acknowledge it. Thats very rare to see.

Kudos to Border authority for making my visa on arrival in 5 minutes.

New procedure sucks
Guys,

First of all, i am not sure why you are all asking for help on this forum. This is not moderated by UAE embassy so please save your time and figure out another way.

Secondly, UAE sucks for putting in place this nasty visa procedure. And the excuse they are giving is that they don't want us to wait in queues; well! hell with that.

This new procedure is not only inconvenient at so many levels, it is also hurting business community. I hope this gets reverted.
