THOSE RUDE AND RACIST STAFF ARE STILL THERE??
Amigos,
Like many others, my Kenyan fiancee was treated badly and refused a visa 2 years ago. We were thinking to return to the Spanish Embassy to apply now, thinking that those useless people must have been fired by now but judging from the comments it is even worse than before.
Surely the Ambassador is aware of the situation?
It is such a shame because when you get to Spain the people are so nice.
My advice, if you can, do a transit through the Netherlands or Sweden on the way to Spain.
Those embassies have people with akili and are happy to take your Euros. This has worked for us 3 times now.

Buenos Viajes

I have started getting worried
I have applied for a Schengen visa through Spanish Embassy in Nairobi couple of weeks back and whenever I called the Embassy to find out about my visa, my phone call is not picked. I live outside Kenya and I wonder why such a diplomatic mission does that to its clients.

Ambassador's Email
I share everyone's sentiments about the horrible treatment at the Spanish Embassy especially from the white lady. I thought I was the only one she was totally rude to but now I see it is not my problem but hers.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has ever come across the ambassador's email. Maybe we should direct all our complaints directly to him seeing that no one probably ever reads this as she (Queen B) is still happily working there!! I will not even start on the horribly dressed Kenyan women that work there and think they are in Spain instead of Kenya!!

Mercedes and Amanda were very friendly and correct
I disagree with the other comments about them. They were correct, helpful, friendly and professional and assisted me all over the process with my papers. This is the second time I posted this comment, the first one (I don' t know why) has been deleted 15 minutes after being post and published
