Comments on this High Commission
Just got through to a very helpful lady :-) Thank you
I am unable to reach you on Phone and had no response on my email. I need to renew my daughters passport ? Can I go through your offices for this ?
Your phone does not even ring at all! has your number changed and what is the procedure for getting fingerprints taken? we used to be able to do it a police station!
It seems that the NZ Police do not do these anymore. NZ Post only do electronic fingerprinting. The solution I was offered was to come to Wellington to get it done. That will cost several hundred dollars to get me and my wife there.
It seems nobody is interested and the Consulate doesn't care because if you can't get fingerprints, your pension will lapse and the only loser is the South African Pensioner living in New Zealand
SUSANNA SOPHIA BOTHA has lost her passport in one of our Auckland buses. And we can not locate the passenger. Please call 0800662266 for more info Cheers.

You have to apply for this directly at the SAPS, not through the embassy.
Refund of fees:
This can take anywhere from 2 months to 1 year for you to get it back after you've applied for it.
The waiting period is quite long, but the people in the Wellington office is always very helpful and friendly. They only send and receive the documents to and from South Africa, they have no control over the process in South Africa and can only wait and follow up. It is not their fault. Please be patient and treat them with respect, no matter how frustrated you feel. Don't wait until the last minute to try and get something that is going to take months, plan ahead. And GOOGLE is an amazing tool and with patience and some initiative you'll be amazed at what information you can find. :)
I have no idea why I am sending this, I have emailed you at least 4 other times requesting an application form so I can get another copy of my son's unabridged birth certificate, all I need is the application form so that I can apply for it please.
Hello, I sent an email through regarding how to reclaim back my deposit, which I placed with the South African embassy before applying for my student visa.Could you please get back to me. Thank you.
Question?
Please can some one help me to get hold of somebody who would be so kind and help me with the renewal of my passport at the South African Embassy at Wellington. No response on emails and landline calls. I was referred to Australie Embassy. Is this the correct way of communication? Please Help.
Please can someone get back to me about the status of my passport. It's been over five months since you received my application and I urgently need my passport to travel for work.
I've tried calling and e-mailing and am not getting anywhere.
Please reply.
Thank you
