Comments on this High Commission
Please ignore the earlier comment. The date of visa filing was 27th March 2014
I have applied for my business visa with application being duly filled along with my passport & was submitted on 27th March 2014. I had business meetings lined up but had to reschedule as I have no information from VFS. According to VFS the passport is still at the consulate even after 25 days. I had sent at least two request letters over an email to vfshelponline on 8th April as well as on 16th April 2014 explaining them urgency of the situation and there is no positive response. I had been in South Africa last year (2103) 3 times over the business visa for my business meetings & never had faced any such issues. Would appreciate if the visa can be issued and passport released as this is causing me and my company to loose business as I'm unable to meet my team reporting to me in South Africa as well as customers and partners. A response over this would be appreciated. Thanks Much
Most pathetic & disgusting experience. Applications were submitted on 25th of March & flight was yesterday. No reply from their side. Standard replies from VFS that applications under process at High Commission. Had been sending Request Letters to expedite since last 10 days clearly mentioning the day of the flight, but New Delhi is supposed to be offline since 5 days & doesn't seem to be resolving the issue soon. Hence had no option but to cancel the bookings (with a financial loss) & send a Withdrawal Letter to VFS.

Hi
I applied corporate visa on 13-march-2014. It says 60 days like the case of everyone.
Does anyone received a corporate visa recently??
Is there any way to check status other than calling them??
VISA Means i am discussing about ICT.
I was in Johannesburg for 3 Months in Aug/Sep/Oct. I have seen so many people are coming with ICT, I met around 150 HCL and L&T guys who came on ICT. and That time visa granted in within 1 month.
2 of my company friend is also got ICT in one month at the same time period.
South Africans used to do like every year..It seems they dont want Indians go to SA for any purpose because local guys are loosing jobs because of Indians.
I am also waiting from last 4 months.
Thanks Sunny for the information. Please let me know if u have any idea that how much more time it will take to process the permit ? What is the reason of delay ? Bcz I earlier heard that it usually takes only 6 weeks.
