Ohhh... Mine is permit !! I think ICT comes under permit now. So what are the chances of January permit ? I have to travel in April last week ..

As i mentioned before hey will start working on January permits in May most probably as said they hope so as per visa they punching by hand but thats just for visa not permits so please make it clear what are you referring a visa or permit

I have tried to speak with the guards and Staff to get as much info as possible they said Jan will be start processing hopefully by May and expect a call from embassy for reissue of draft , as few new officers have arrived for clearing of backlog and as of now they issuesing visa by hand because thier server is broken down they are waiting for the IT professional , and till then they got a bundel of sticker visa from colombo

I agree to latest comment on server problem,one of my friend has applied for dependent visa on first week of FEB from THOMAS COOK, they got the same information.
Serious server problem.we hope this will be resolved soon.
I have appled my SA visa on March 19. My travel date was April 12. It was an invited lecture in a University. I had to cancel all my bookings and had financial loss due to travel cancellation. I applied for withdrawal of application and my passport. God knows! When I will get my passport! I feel insecured in my country as my passport is uncertain! Has anybody got the passport back from SA embassy after withdrawal?
OMG !! Seriously .. What is this . We have already travel plans.
D new update is "The server issue of High Commission of the Republic of South Africa, New Delhi has not been resolved yet & the Embassy has no end time for the same. Till the time this issue is resolved, no visa applications will be processed."

Visited embassy today and they have stop taking any queries directly from people.Just say sorry for the inconvenience.They are not willing to talk or give any deadline.They have still not processed January Applications.God knows what they are doing.

Did they tell any expected dates for Jan application ?
