Comments on this Consulate-General
I have often repeated this, but the consulate never asks for any additional documents. They either approve or reject the visa. When they reject, they tell you what documents were missing in case you need to appeal.
They only ask for extra documents at the VFS.
ICT applications submitted in November are likely to processed by Jan itself.
I applied in Oct and submitted expedite letter I did not get visa till now

Can you please clarify me while you applied ICT additional documents asked at time of submission at vfs or consulate later for processing time please.
Also please update how long will take process ICT visa application. I have applied on Nov 14 still waiting please.

Applied for relative (spouse) visa on 14th December 2016 via VFS Global in Mumbai. Till today, status still shows that its under process. Went to VFS Global offices in Mumbai on 23rd January 2017 and submitted a letter of urgency which was delivered to the SA Consulate Mumbai on the 24th January 2017 @ 07:54AM. Flight is booked for 30th January 2017. Can anyone help or give any contact details?
other than the documents mentioned on VFS website, the extra ones I was asked for ICT visa were:
- ID copies of all nationals (1-3) from SA who I'll be working with, attested by a Commissioner Of Oaths from SA.
- ID copy of my company director
- Documents which prove the relationship between Indian and SA company
- Registration certificate of the companies
- A donation of 100/- in Hanuman mandir for faster approval of application

It is good that you are tightening immigration rules properly because of feedback from international organizations.
But please decide a case in a stipulated amount of time.
In addition, please clearly mention the list of documents needed and additional documents.

EARLIER SOUTH AFRICA WAS CONSIDERED TO BE THE EASIEST PLACE ON EARTH TO EMIGRATE. NOT ANYMORE. MANY INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATIONS LAUGHED ON US, ON THE WAY IMMIGRATION WAS DEALT WITH. SPECIALLY PEOPLE FROM INDIA, BANGLADESH, PAKISTAN SEE SA AS A EASIEST PLACE TO SETTLE.
ALL ARE WELCOME HOWEVER GET READY TO FULFILL ALL THE CRITERIA ON VISA APPLICATION AND HAVE PATIENCE. STOP EMAILING ME.

With job offer, resignation letter and everything possibly imaginable.
Recently there have been multiple retrenchments and quality checks not to mention the change in visa policies of SA. My last ICT visa came in 6 weeks but this time for a CSV its taking forever.
