I applied for a spouse dependent visa during the first week of February. So far nothing, nada, zilch.
With the passport with them how can one travel to anyother country?
Either their phones are busy which is understandable given the number of frustrated citizens tryingto phone them or they do not pick up. If they do pick up they disconnect the line. The worst service I have come across from a consulate, high commission or embassy in the whole wide world and I have travelled the world over.
What does this speak of the relations between India and South Africa, when neither country wants to take responsiblity for people who want to tavel between these two countries?
It is terrible, no accountability, no professionalism. Maybe the best way to get this problem is to hold a stike in front of the SA high commissions in India. I guess that is the only way in which service delivery can be achieved in India, else no one listens.
Hey Mr.Malik..wen did u applied for her Visa..coj I am also waiting for mine.I aplied on 28th Jan and it is at Pretoria for verification.These Consulate ppl are nt picking up the fne even.
Can't bare da heat of India , just waiting for my wife dependent visa.. Hope dis guyzz give visa
Hey ppl..any updates on Visas.Though today the Consulate is closed due to holiday at SA.These ppl enjoy both Indian as well as SA holidays.How they are going to complete their work in time..

Has anybody received Dependent Visa(not tourist visa) lately?i hav applied on 28th Jan and no updates yet..Still the application is at Pretoria for verification.Even the consulate people are nt picking up the call..Thats highly unprofessional.
Hey All, Is there any update on work permit. I applied in January and still waiting for the visa. There is no update from them. No one is taking care of the delays and every now n then they have holidays even after having that much backlog. Has any one got work permit in recent times ? Please update. It is killing me mentally.

Unfortunately booked my SA tour with MMT departing on 26th Apr 2014 to celebrate my wedding anniversary. MMT has today called me and asked to beg for visa. I have already lost a lot of money and am spending sleepless nights - I HAVE VOWED NEVER TO VISIT THIS DAMN COUNTRY IN MY LIFE. Just kick them out of India. I just want to tell you'll... There is a huge back log at the Embassy and so it's all luck whether ur visa comes thru or no. The agents are not bothered and r nincompoops... They r not going to work that extra mile... So if u want your visa, get ur butt to the embassy urself and beg beg and beg... Finally, got my visa after begging to the Counsel General at 7.30pm.. I fly tonight and embassy closed now till Monday!! Phew....
