Company inquiry in SA
Respected Sir/Madam

I am writing on behalf of M.K Raj Enterprises, we are reputed traders, importers of used machinery, scrap of all kinds based in Mumbai,India .

The reason I write to you is I am interested in importing different forms of scrap(HMS scrap, copper scrap, aluminium scrap) from various regions in South Africa in bulk. I have yet not traded and imported goods from this part of the world. I have received quotes back from various suppliers which seem a bit too favourable keeping in mind the global metal commodity market.

My aim is to find out whether these parties are genuine and authentic and I am not part of a scam where my advance import payment is never seen again or I never hear from these parties again.

I would like to find out whether these are genuine parties interested in doing long term business with us. What documentation can I ask them to provide that would further state their authenticity

If I were to make a visit to South Africa for physical inspection of supplier yards/warehouses ,would you be able to provide me with a local associate, some form of security to accompany me to these sites as I have heard of instances of money extraction in disguise of business meetings from fellow businessmen.

Anyone else that I should contact who would able to help me further on this issue.

Eagerly awaiting a response

Regards
Ali Chitalwalla
