REQUIREMENTS NEEDED FOR TRAVEL TO SINGAPORE
I have a scheduled pleasure trip to Singapore with my mother and sister on July 4 to July 7, 2011, we have heard that we need to acquire an invitation from a resident of Singapore. Can you please give me details about documents needed so we will be allowed to enter Singapore. Thank you for your time, and I'll be expecting a feedback from you soon. my email address is jersey_erykah@yahoo.com

Want to go Singapore as Tourist But does not know SG resident
Good Day,

I am a frequent traveler and I was told a letter of invitation was one "unspoken" travel document for travel to SG. I intend to travel to SG purely for leisure and I don't know anyone from there who would actually "invite" me. Like I said. I am just visiting as a tourist, doesn't mean I know anyone there.

Is this truly a requirement? Are there other options? I was told others get through without this.
