In sha Allah all shall be well my brothers and sisters. Though am down mentally and physically as i wait to hear good news on this whole visa issue. The Saudi authority should have inform the agencies long time ago not just giving a month notice when people have been planning since last year. Have hope and keep praying all shall be well by His Grace..
This whole episode has been disgracefully managed and will leave much bitterness. People work very hard to save to go the haramain. Just feel the authorities should have advised everyone in march when they knew this was going to happen. This way they have enured Saudi businesses do not miss out.
Sister Amina I am so sorry to hear about this news. We are still waiting anxiously for our visas and mofa numbers it has been extremely stressful! I have also enquired about the ticket cancellation as I have booked with saudi airlines on 16th July. Tickets have been booked via the travel agents so any refunds will be issued to them. I didn't quite understand what the person on the line was saying but she did say that if you cancel instead of losing money you can book tickets which will be valid for a year through them. I don't think after this experience I will use this option. There should be some money refunded back to you so ask your agent.
Brother although your agent has said your ticket is non refundable you must ring the airline yourself as it depends on the class of your fare. You will get some money back. Luthansa told my sis that if they have a letter of proof that no visa was given then you should get full refund minus £25 admin fee. Otherwise they would minus £150 of the fare and refund the rest. Please dont take your agents word for it. Phone up and try. Get your agent to write you a letter. He seems to be lazy if he is not trying already.
Also someone I know got their mofa number today but we still are waiting for ours. Please make dua for all.
I'm really upset to say this, but I've just been told that we have not been awarded with a visa. I don't know where we stand with our ticket as it was non-refundable, I want to know if anyone else is in this position. Because I am really unhappy about this and want to know as muslims brothers and sisters what we can do, as we cannot do ummrah and we have lost out on our money.

I have just heard that The office in jeddah is still closed that give out the Mofa numbers
Salaams All, please can some one update if they are travelling with Lufthansa and what have they said about a refund? My agent is saying its not refundable and it's also not changeable. In other words say bye bye to £2,300 for a family of four.
Please can someone update if they have news otherwise.

Salam to all, I have booked tickets 16 july but still mofa not issue, I worried about that, Please make dua for all of us, Ramazan Mubarak.
My flight is booked for 12 july not got the visa yet i have hope in Allah,just keep praying and Allah will sure help us throuhg this difficult time inshallah we will go dont loose hope in Allah..Allah make it easy for brothers and sisters Ameen.
dont worry we need to keep strong u will get visa we have to keep praying not giving up to all my muslim brothers and sisters allah will accept our prayers soon inshallah
