I have an urgent request and although I have tried to call the number above several times, I get no response. I need to obtain an urgent passport as I have an emergency flight booked to Portugal on the 13th of May. My citizen card and passport expired. What can I do?

Ola, fui mae ha cerca de um ano e meio e por falta de meios nunca tive opurtunidade de me deslocar até manchester com fim de legalizar a documentaçao do meu filho que até agora ainda não se encontra com os documentos em dia.
Preciso de marcaçao para poder obter um visto para o meu filho com fim de podermos abandonar o pais O MAIS RAPIDO POSSIVEL e regressar assim a portugal.

I've already sent an email to consulado@manchester.dgaccp.pt last week. Today I try consulado.manchester@mne.pt to make an appointment to renew my passport. Hope they will reply the email soon. And thanks Lotus update the email
Hi All,
Please email consulado.manchester@mne.pt as this is the only way to contact the manchester consulate and make an appointment with them. The email on this website as well as the one that they have on their telephone system DOES NOT WORK!
They will on average reply in 1 - 2 weeks.. If they do reply it is relatively straight forward to get a appointment.
You would have thought they would have they would have amended this by now - I guess appointments for passports and ID cards aren't of particular importance for a consulate..
