Portugal continues detention and Mental torture of black students despite DNA test exonerating them!!
Portugal continues detention and Mental torture of black students despite DNA test exonerating them!!

Fresh findings from the British girl, who was alleged to have been raped by three black youths, while on vacation in Lisbon Portugal have revealed that, she must have had sex with another individual, apart from the suspects now languishing in the Prison custody of the Portuguese Authorities

The African Opinion, which has been following the trail of the investigations in Portugal, for her many readers, since the inception of the case in July, 2015, can now disclose exclusively that, a detailed Forensic investigation including DNA analysis conducted over 10 months period on the three suspects, alleged to have committed the rape, clearly shows that the victim, slept with another person-apart from the present croup of suspects in detention in Portugal.

The results, though shocking to investigators and the Prosecutors handling the case in Portugal, yet has surprisingly not led to fair treatment and justice for the accused persons. For the team of Forensic experts, who conducted the test on the DNA of the victim and the accused persons, found traces of sperm in the mouth and vagina of the victim.

The Sperm found in the mouth of the victim and her vagina, did not in any way match the DNA of any of the accused persons involved in the case as indicated in the court papers.

Also expected to be exonerated by the findings, was the young man who invited the suspects, to spend their vacation with him, at the home of his grandmother in Lisbon, where the said incident was alleged to have taken place.

Although the said rape victim, had told the police in Lisbon contradictory stories, but unknown to the investigating team that interviewed her, she intentionally left the part which had to do with the boy she met and slept with after she was dropped off at the hotel by the suspects which was very vital to the investigations and could help in identifying the person responsible for the mismatch of the DNA, and the sperm found in her mouth and vagina.

The prosecutors, are also faced with the dilemma of proving how a victim who claimed she did not have oral sex with any of the suspects, got sperm in her mouth, which did not in anyway tally with DNA of the suspects. Aware, she had earlier told the police in Lisbon, she did not have oral sex with any of the suspects. Also she claimed her face was turned down on the pillow while the suspects took turns to have sex with her.

The trial judge has refused to accept the results of the DNA presented to him, by the Prosecution, as part of the evidence, perhaps owing to the fact that, the Police used the Portuguese media to tilt public opinion against the suspects immediately after the incident was reported to them.

A friend of the victim, with whom she was alleged to have been raped, had earlier told colleagues and friends who were with them in Portugal, that the police in Lisbon lured them into framing the suspects. That they had no plans whatsoever of reporting the incident as a case of rape against the suspects.

The girl in question, who also involved in the said rape issue with the victim in the same house with her friend, have since written to the judge, informing the court that, she has since settled that matter out of court with all the suspects. A situation which led to one of the accused persons, being released from prison custody of the Portuguese authorities.

TAO News, was also made to understand that, the said girl, who is black, had appealed to the alleged victim, to open up by telling the truth on what really transpired between the two of them and the suspects on the night of the said rape incident. But the victim, explained that her mother refused to allow her reach any sort of amicable settlement with the accused persons. dreamstime_xl_34460111

This is because the mother is said to be pursuing and holding fast to an opinion that, her daughter has a boyfriend in London, and that she will not go out of her way, to sleep with different types of men in Lisbon (in contrast to the scientific evidence now at the disposal of the prosecution).

TAO News investigations also revealed that, it was the victim who actually lured the boys, into taking turns to have sex with her. For even after they had finished their sexual activities with her, she still wanted to enjoy another round of sex with one of the suspects who dropped her off at her hotel- but the young man quickly declined the offer.

Although, it is not known why the Police in Lisbon Portugal, tricked the girls into reporting rape against the suspects; most watchers of the unfolding event, are of the view that, the idea was designed by the police to help them elevate their ever dwindling status with the British Government, following their inability to solve the case of the missing British girl in Portugal for almost 9 years now.

On the marks found on the arms and buttocks of the girl, Tao News was told that the suspect who invited the accused persons to Portugal, who is said to be an intimate friend of the victim, put those marks on her, out of sheer excitement when he got the message on his phone that he has been selected as a professional footballer for a club in Manchester-London.

However, it is still not clear if the victim was just acting a script, penned for her by the Police in Lisbon, as alleged in a taped telephone conversation between one of the rape victims and another suspect involved in the case, in whose grandmother’s house, the said event was alleged to have taken place in Portugal.

The most troubling issue according to Human Rights Advocacy Group, calling for the release of the suspects, is that, she still had the courage to go to a Night club again-shortly after arriving at her hotel room with her friends from the venue of the incident.

The group also want to know if it was just a coincidence, or that the boys now in the custody of the Portuguese authorities, were set up-by their friend who invited them to Portugal and the two rape victims are based in Manchester London. And why it took the police in Lisbon, more than seven months to charge the major actor in the entire episode and in whose house the said rape incident took place.

Fortunately for the suspects, a review of the Security cameras at the Hotel, showed the victim, who was seen happily hugging and exchanging pleasantries with the suspects, and waving them off as they left the hotel. which made, some to wonder how a woman who told the police she was raped–and had injuries all over her vagina– could be strong enough to go to bed with a total stranger again, just in few hours after she reported the rape case to the police?

Most medical experts spoken to on this particular rape issues, remain adamant in their opinion that, sexual contact after an alleged rape incident, can lead to the victims having flashbacks and make them feel worse than they were before the event. For many, the thought of going to bed with men again, shortly after the such an event, will be the last thing on their minds for months, years if not longer. But contrary to the views expressed above, the victim was still having sex with another lover of hers in Lisbon, even on the day she finally boarded her flight to London from Portugal.

Meanwhile, the Young man she slept with the victim in Lisbon, on several occasions and the final day of her departure, has re-affirmed of his preparedness, to testify in any court of law, about the sexual activities between him and the rape victim. Shortly after she claimed to have been raped and hours before her final departure from Portugal to London.

Sadly, the suspects are gradually developing certain troubling mental conditions in their prison cells-as a result of being traumatized by the entire event because of their long incarceration in prison by the trial judge in Portugal.

In Portugal, Preventive Detentions according to their constitution, are limited to a maximum of four months for each crime. However, detention beyond four months is for major crimes such as murder or armed robbery.

But it is still not clear, why these youths, have been kept in deplorable prison conditions for almost a Year in Portugal without bail. According to court documents made available to TAO NEWS, the trial judge was quoted as saying that he refused to grant the accused persons bail, because of the type of countries they come from in Africa.

That may be why the Police refused to alert the Embassies of the countries that, the suspects come from in Portugal. Hence the need for Judge, to bluntly refuse to grant them bail. Despite the overwhelming evidence before him that, what the suspect had with their victim was consensual sex.

Although, the suspects are from Cape Verdes Island, Madagascar, Nigeria and Portugal, the prayers on the lips and hearts of the parents who are often not allowed to witness the appearance of their children in court, is for their wards to reunite with them and not be allowed to die in the Prison custody of the Portuguese government over a mutual sex incident they had with the said victim.

Only time will tell, if there are two different justice system in Portugal; a justice system for the Whites and another for the blacks from Africa. The treatment of these young men (international students) is clearly a violation of international laws and norms and the individual rights of the UN Human Rights Charter.
