My identity card of national citizen has been expired
Can I renew my ID card in the Consulate General in Manchester? I normally renewed it in Macau and have never done it in the UK. It's been expired for almost a month now.

Passport Renewal
Hi,
There are two ways of renewing a passport at manchester
1) Go without an appointment early in the morning
2) Try and call the manchester office from early hours in the morning.

Either ways carry all duplicates of identity card. Self posted pre-paid envelopes.Cash to the amount of GBP 300/- Residence proof in the UK and a registration form at the consulate.

waiting periods are quite long. I got mine in April start for July 31st.

Should anyone need the forms pls mail me at jovyporto@gmail.com

Incompetence at the highest level
Been trying to get hold of someone all week, nobody answers the phone, appointment is made for 6 weeks as no other appointments. We fly 7 days later so this will not be possible to collect scheghan visa. The website to book appointments is horrendous confusing and hard work!! Looks like I'm going to lose my flights and money due to the fact nobody will answer the phone to see if there are any dates in May available or any cancellations!! Terrible service!!
