We registered in London, but cannot book an appointment, the calendar shows nothing no matter where I click. Any ideas?? Thank you
The best way to contact the Consulate in London is on mail@cglon.dgaccp.pt .... I had a response from them within a week and they provided good information on how to book an appointment, documents required etc.
To book your appointment with the consulate you need to go to www.portaldascomunidades.mne.pt
You then select "Agendamento Consular Online" followed by "Efectuar Agendamento"
You then enter your cartao or billete number (should be 8 digit number). your date of birth and press the magnifying glass afterwhich you choose the consulate i.e. Londres(London). You then register online entering the same details as before along with your name, email address and phone number.
In the additional information section you need to state what process you wish to undertake at the consulate i.e. passport renewal, new passport, cartao renewal etc.
FYI for cartao choose civil identity documentation which will then allow you to choose cartao under the "Ato Consular" section. For passport renewal its travel documents and the electronic passport option will be made available. You then tick the statement at the bottom of the page and click "Calendarizar".
Choose the date within the excel calender using the arrows. The selected date and time will pop up and you click " submeter agendamento"
You then fill in the number code and "confirmar agendamento"
You will then be sent a confirmation email for your appointment which you MUST PRINT AND TAKE WITH YOU TO THE CONSULATE.
Please note: YOU WILL NEED TO BOOK A SEPARATE APPOINTMENT TO RENEW THE CARTAO AND PASSPORT SO TRY AND ENSURE YOU HAVE TIMED IT RIGHT TO GET BOTH DONE ON THE SAME DONE IF NEEDED.

I am registeres in the portuguese consulate in London. Do you know if its possible to renew my ID card or get a 'Titulo de viagem unique' in Manchester. I need to travel as soon as possible owing to family emergencies and London is out of the way as I know live in Sheffield so Manchester would only be a 45 minute drive whereas london is like a 3 hour drive. Please if you know any information, let me know:

My current British passport does not expire until 13th October 2015.

Hello, I am also in urgent need of renewing my ID card as I already have a holiday booked and just realised my ID card has expired. Has anyone actually been successful? Booking an appointment
Have been trying to book an appointment for 2 weeks with portuguese consulate, but cannot select a date on the calendar. Need some urgent help please
