You can for sure. But before fifteenth December due to Christmas holidays. Make sure you apply for a tourist visa from any other EU country not Portugal. And do not mention anywhere on the application form that you are an EU citizen as you are applying on Indian passport. Good luck and..dev borem korum!

With COVID, it would seem impossible to make it to the UK at this moment when COVID is at it's possible peak in Europe. Otherwise I could have made it to the UK.

Not sure in Goa as the consulate is closed and no appointments are available except for renewals and emegerency documents.

I got mine in Lisbon in three days while they said I could get in twenty four hours. I got mine in the year twenty eighteen.

To Ezequiel
If you manage to get your CC and passport before the end of the year then I’d urge you to get pre settled status, which gives you access to Britain for atleast five years, even if you don’t want to live here. I did just that but don’t intend to permanently live in the UK. You can then decide if you want to move to Ireland, after first visiting it.

Regarding the Immigration Act, it’s unenforceable in Northern Ireland without violating the Good Friday Agreement.
Here’s what Pelosi (US speaker of the House) had to say about a US/UK trade deal if the GFA is violated

Ironically, the UK government still maintains that they don’t want a hard Irish border. I wonder how the government plans to stop an EU citizen from just walking into Northern Ireland from Ireland without a border.

If the UK is adamant on violating the GFA, mechanisms are in place to ultimately put both EU and US sanctions on the UK.

Perfectly put and I couldn't disagree. Somehow some miscreants on this forum want to still cheat Goans by manipulating such facts and misrepresenting the reality.

Twenty twenty one will prove us right. Till then we ignore these goons.

Stop posing as Ann as your language unfortunately cant be disguised. The name doesnt matter. Your IP address is being complained against. Seems you are a desperate agent.

Freedom of Movement to the UK Ends from next year officially.
Unsolicited messages aside from those trying to hijack the forum, I would like to announce that the UK has officially passed the new Immigration Bill, which has received Royal Assent thereby making it British law. This new bill, ends freedom of movement for EU citizens wanting to move to the UK from the first of January twenty twenty one.

On a side note I must finally admit that I'm glad the UK is leaving the EU. The mentality of the Brexiteers is one of empire and self worth rather than unity with its neighbours. Even when the UK had their voice in the European parliament, most of their MEPs (such as Nigel Farage) were more of a nagging rabble mostly wanting to fault the EU for everything. While Freedom of Movement continues in the EU countries consisting of twenty seven countries, the UK is going to lose this precious gift from the EU, and may have problems with easily travelling to the EU from the beginning of next year. Eventually the UK is at a bigger loss.

My compliments and respects to those who voted to remain in the EU. I mean no harm nor offense to you who voted to remain. I wish you well and hope that all of you would apply for EU citizenship so as to continue having access to the EU's benefits of freedom of movement.

Com os melhores cumprimentas,
Ezekiel
