Yes the thirty first of December is the last day of UK in the EU. You will need to follow the new immigration rules from first Jan. That would make your Indian passport on par with your Portuguese one. But remember that you will be restricted to move within UK as you will still need visas for other countries. I suggest you wait till you get your birth registered as it’s too late now.

Approach a lawyer in Lisbon directly. Easy to find online.
Write a summary of your case, pre or post with all relevant info. Read your own documents are check mainly for names matching.
Once the lawyer informs that case can be registered, then simply get all the documents attested by any notary, then district collector and finally for apostille there is a shop adjacent to Cafe Tato in Patto.
Once received you can courier all the documents by DHL to Lisbon.
This whole process in Goa will cost you rupees ten thousand max. Instead of upfront one lakh to the agent.
If BC is not online that would cost another two to three thousand rupees to get done.
It’s so easy if you take ownership to do it yourself.

Unsolicited messages aside from those trying to hijack the forum, I would like to announce that the UK has officially passed the new Immigration Bill, which has received Royal Assent thereby making it British law. This new bill, ends freedom of movement for EU citizens wanting to move to the UK from the first of January twenty twenty one.
On a side note I must finally admit that I'm glad the UK is leaving the EU. The mentality of the Brexiteers is one of empire and self worth rather than unity with its neighbours. Even when the UK had their voice in the European parliament, most of their MEPs (such as Nigel Farage) were more of a nagging rabble mostly wanting to fault the EU for everything. While Freedom of Movement continues in the EU countries consisting of twenty seven countries, the UK is going to lose this precious gift from the EU, and may have problems with easily travelling to the EU from the beginning of next year. Eventually the UK is at a bigger loss.
My compliments and respects to those who voted to remain in the EU. I mean no harm nor offense to you who voted to remain. I wish you well and hope that all of you would apply for EU citizenship so as to continue having access to the EU's benefits of freedom of movement.

This is a tiny bit on Union Jack to your top left. Sadly you just can’t have the entire Union Jack. You can keep abusing the Middle East as you can never afford to live here with your Portuguese passport (guess you don’t have one) and prefer to clean the toilet at Heathrow Airport. Don’t take our Goans to the same drain and let them seek other lands to prosper. Europe is big enough for all Goans.
