Recommending Agents in Forum
Thank you folks for your feedback and sharing names of other reliable Agents. Let's keep this discussion alive. I think dealing directly with Solicitors in Lisbon would be a great approach. Bernardo is a thorough Professional. Well, we can't expect every aspiring Goan to be well versed about the documents required and procedures involved. John, it may be some other John.

I have another question. Is it a good idea to get Cartao and Passport from the Consulate in Goa or it's better to get them from Lisbon or any other third Country. Please enlighten.

I don’t know whether you addressed that to Joshua and mistakenly added my name. But if you addressed me I’ll say that Yes, many Goans are gullible and lots of Goan/Indian agents take advantage of them.

Some Portuguese lawyers like Bernardo Reis have counterparts in Goa who deal with the Goan/Indian paperwork. Lamares Capela has lesser charges, but no counterparts in Goa.

Regardless of charges dealing directly with a Portuguese lawyer is the best solution. You will atleast get regular updates on your case.

Avoid all agencies run by Goans/Indians.

TWO attempts at uploading and both had failed. It is neither classified nor do I want to keep it under wraps.

It would be my pleasure to broadcast the info.

Look we are here to give the guidance to the people its up to them whether they want to go with them or not . i have given factual update about for those who needed help in fact i approach the lawyer directly in got the charges even more than the agent took here . mine was transparent and so recommended anyways in this forum nothing can be verified it the application of mind of the individual
ninety percent people who has done PP has gone through agents its up to people whom they want to go with because lot of people in Goa are dumb and they dont know what document they need to submit that's why the local agents can hello you but you need to make the righty choice

and that's what I do people should make their own judgment based on fact...

here we don't know who is impersonating and commenting as there is no source of verification

My advice to you is also avoid all Goan/Indian agents.
Only deal with Portuguese lawyers/agents.
Goans and Indian agents know nothing about Portugal they only run this as a business. Portuguese lawyers living in Portugal are more efficient.

I have never recommended an agent perhaps it was another John. I will recommend one now, A good agency is Lamares Capela in Lisbon, Google them.
They don’t know much about Goa so you’ll have to do the work in Goa yourself. But once submitted they give you regular updates

Recommending agents in the Forum
John, Linda Dias, Antonio, Angela........you guys keep on recommending Agents in this Forum repeatedly. Have you had direct experience with these Agents and did you try to receive feedback from any Members of the Forum. Some of my acquaintances contacted Universal Sushant and Sparky toes, they never replied. Euro World will keep on making you run around. They make tall promises but fail to deliver and they don't keep themselves updated. Bosco seems to be honest, replies demanding very low charges and lot of unnecessary documents and finally gives excuses for delay or just stops replying. Finally he will state that it cannot be done, procedure is changed, corona virus etc.etc.He does not share contact number except for a Indian WhatsApp number, does not reveal his physical location too. Gomindes is extremely expensive. Please, no offence to anybody. Just a feedback. Kindly share your experiences. There is no harm in engaging a Agent provided you can afford one. Better if you contact a Solicitor in Lisbon directly.

You have to write numbers in words. Otherwise it doesn’t go through
