Hi I don’t know my agent has done or no but knowing his work I don’t think he has . Can you guide me with this as to how to make it in case they ask . I am expecting my docs to be verified by crc next week because when asking update they mentioned that they are in the last week of dec 2016 and my paper is Jan 1st week 2017. My sister who had applied in 2016 dec got the assento number . Could you guide me how to do the declaration Incase they ask and who can do it

The verification of MEA is not the real issue for delays. Most of the time if the documents have issues with name divergences or they suspect fraud from specific area cases then there is a delay.
Also, the CRC Lisboa doesn't have a special line for only Goans, all consulates all over the world send their documents to this CRC hence the slow speed.
My case was post-1961 birth and had MEA stamp on my documents. Total time to process birth 12 months (submitted on April 17)

All docs show my surname as my birth certificate but only my passport surname is that of my husband will it be a problem and delay the process please advise ( my case is post 1961)
Dear Sabby , thank you for the update . Just a quick question , if verification is through MEA , is it very slow ..Has it affected the speed of verification process ultimately leading to slowing down of process..
Its all online now. Documents and photograph to be uploaded - Portuguese passport copy, surrender certificate, we had a couple of more as it was for my son who is a minor. Call them up. They are super helpful and will assist u. Any missing documents and they tell u to upload it so don't worry if anything is missing.
Currently the manual verfication is going on through mea I can seen a emial by chance asking for a due deligence of certian party it was dated mid of April. Dont ask me any further details.
guys , has anyone received the assento nowadays ? Is the verification happening currently ? any cases moving ..if yes , how is the verification happening currently even after sub registrars not helping consulate with verification process.kindly update . thank you
