Schengen Visa Query
Originally I called the embassy about a month a ago requesting for an appointment, but the lady told me that you were fully booked until the end of May, and I was supposed to travel on the 3rd May. She then informed me that I should've just gotten a reservation, but one can not get a reservation for more than a week or even a day with some air lines, because a ticket needs to be bought.
I have travelled to Portugal before, and the time frame for applying for the visa, has always been the same.
She was a bit abrupt, and told me that she would put me on the waiting list as no 4.
Up till now no one has called me, I called last week, then another lady told me that clearly she didn't call me because there was no openings. I've changed both tickets, myself and my baby, for the 22nd, and I had to pay of course, but I also had to change the insurance dates, accomodation, etc.
I called last week, just to inform that I won't be traveling on the 3rd no longer, and that this could give some ample time for the visa, because I going to see family.

I would really appreciate it, if someone could please assist me. The thing is, embassies are somewhat supposed to be ambassadors for their countries, and I understand that one hardly gets any joy from the people that work at these places, but when one calls them, is it really necessary to be this abrupt...one would actually say in portuguese...uma pessoa nao esta vontade para falar ou para fazer peruguntas.

I would really appreciate it, if someone could contact me please?

URGENT: collection of passport - -please call me
Hi

I've been trying to call your offices but with no success.

Yesterday I made my visa application with Sandra. I explained that I had to
go to Kenya unexpectedly on Sunday, so could not leave the passport but
would drop it off on my return. Sandra said that the visa would be
processed by today and I would be able to collect the passport.

I am getting very anxious now that I am unable to confirm collection of my
passport, as I will be unable to travel for a work meeting on Sunday
without it.

PLEASE could you contact me?

Thanks!
