I phoned asking for information. the lady asks me for my name and surname and date of birth which I gave. she then asks for my contact details and says she will call me back in 5 to 10 minutes. okay so after 2 hours I phone back. another lady answers the phone and wow I was shocked the way she spoke to me. I am really disappointed in our cape town consulate. she said she cannot help and I must wait.she puts the phone down....WTf
Need to work on your customer service skills!
They should learn some manners!

My mother was born in Portugal (I was born in South Africa), I am looking to get a Portuguese passport to travel to the UK as Portugal is part of the EU.
I am wondering if I would need anything extra apart from my green ID book when applying at the Portuguese consulate in Cape Town.
