visa application status
I have been waiting to receive in the mail my Visa application documents. However this application which was sent with expedited service and processing fee has yet to be returned. several attempts to call various phone numbers have gone unanswered. Several of the email address do not work correctly nor attach to any persons. Very frustrating as the 1900 number listed on the website does not work at all in any instance. The lack of professionalism is evident and frustrating. I need answers as the commission has sensitive information in their possession. Any information as the the granting or denying of the travel visa would be appreciated.

Missing Drivers Licence
Canada post lost my Nigeria's drivers license when coming back from Ottawa for authentication. It has become a serious issue because I can't get new license without presenting the old one. The weather is getting colder here in Alberta, as I can't drive to drop my children to school nor pick them home after the school hour. We have made some calls to Ottawa for help no response yet for more than a month. Please can anybody show me how to get to the so called madam Helen, maybe she will be able to help. Thanks

Be positive
I want to add to the good nigerians that appreciate good work and change. Everyone living in canada will acknowledge that there has been a dramatic change since this immigration madam arrived at the mission. We were once children, then students, Youths and then adults. Giving priority to our children, who are our future leaders should be encouraged and complemented. I wish to thank you once more madam for all your efforts. It is so difficult to please the public, uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.
We will appeal to the government to send more immigration officers to the mission since both of you cannot cope with the work alone.
Welldone to you immigration officers!

What flame is she keeping alive?
What nasty flames is she keeping alive this so called Helen Lady! She is paid to do her job and she does it with so much discrimination and double standards. Why is my passport not sent 6 weeks after coming to Ottawa to renew. Does it it make my case less urgent because I decided to follow due process and wait my turn? And you have people coming to the embassy to get a same day treatment? Why are we so inconsistent in service? After telling me my passport will take 2-3 weeks this is the 6th week and not track of my application.

DOUBLE STANDARD
I am shocked at the double standard being at the Nigerian High Commission, Ottawa. I was at the embassy on August 28, 2013 to renew my expired passport, and today is Sept. 24, 2013 it is yet to be passed on to Canada post.

keep the flame alive-Helen
I travelled to Victoria,bc from nigeria and passed through toronto,on
while on the flight to toronto, I misplaced my passport and has to go to the mission in ottawa for a new passport to enable me continue my journey back to Nigeria. Confused and troubled as I was, God linked me with this angel Helen who was used by God to put smile and confidence in me.
Despite the daunting challenges of hatred, betrayal and intimidation by other staff of the mission to enrich themselves above national interest, this lady of substance continued to put the image of the country above personal gain.
May God continue to fight your battles

Thank you Helen for celebrating with the children.
I want to thank Madam Helen for initiating the Nigerian youth day celebration at the Embassy. My daughter has told me so much about your love, help and assistance to children and youths. I was told you process and give passports same day to students. May God bless you. It is now convincing that there are some of you at the mission actually serving Nigerians. This is the first time the youths were celebrated and remembered. Good work Madam.
