I would like to apply for permanent residency in Mexico.
What are the requirements and do I need to make an appointment or just come in?
I am Canadian with a residence in Mexico. I understand that I can apply for either a Non Permanent or a Permanent Residency card. My husband has had his Non-Permanent Residency card for 6 years and will be applying for his permanent residency this year. We anticipate spending more than 6 months annually as we approach full retirement. Please advise as to requirements for both cards and our legal obligations to Mexico in both instances. Thankyou.
