I'm a South African national and would like to marry an Italian citizen. We would like the wedding to take place in Italy. My flight to Italy is booked for the 6th of July 2014. How do I get the necessary documents to be in time for my flight?
My daughter is currently attempting to get a working visa with a letter of invitation. Could you please let me know how long it takes for a working visa - I need this info ASAP as she is waiting to give this company a reply as to whether she will take the job or not. She clearly can't sit around for too long.
I would like to mention that the lady dealing with passports does not address people in a friendly manner. One feels like questions cannot be asked as she attacks you for every question. My cousin has also had dealings with her and said the same thing. This should really be addressed as most people calling the consulate are elderly Italians. Thank goodness my mom did not phone herself.

Good day, my daughter is going to Italy in June 2014 on a dance/culture tour. She is turning 17 on the plane to Italy (27th June). Do I need an unabridged birth certificate for her visum application or only a passport? How long before departure do we have to apply for the visum?
