I am a SA citizen and would like to apply for an Italian passport based on familial ancestory (my father was born in Italy, as were his parents and siblings).

I have a visa which expires on the 1st May 2015. I have just heard about a cruise starting in Venice that I would like to join but it runs into May 2015. Is it possible to have my visa extended by a few days to join the cruise? I am also learning to speak Italian and the extra time there will help m with practicing speaking the language.
I sent them a mail and in less than 24 hours, I had my paperwork emailed to me.

I am an Italian citizen living in SA, and have been battling for the last 2 years to get a copy of my marriage certificate posted to me from Reggio Emelia.
Does anyone know of a way I can get it without me flying to Italy to fetch it myself.
