WELL DONE IRAQI CONSULATE'S STAFF
About two months ago, I visited the Iraqi Consulate in London to issue a first time passport for my 4 years old son. I provided all the required documents. My son's application form had a spelling mistake which cannot be ignored. One of the staff members advised me to go online and fill a new application form. Once I told him that I came from Newcastle (5 hrs driving) he immediately told me to wait in the main hall and then disappeared. About 10-15 minutes later he came back with a new form filled with my son's details and asked me to just sign it, and then the process was done.
I don't know the name of this person but I do, and will always, remember his face. I want to tell him that what he did was a genuine explanation to what magnanimity (شهامة ) means.

Thank you very much to all London's Iraqi Consulate's team.

Services provided by Cosulate staff
I was in the Cosulate today for about five hours to apply for a new passport. I must say I was impressed by the standard of the service. Tthe staff was very friendly, curtious and helpful. They were working non stop during the five hours I was there and mad a tremendous effort to clear the back log mounted by the shear number of Iraqis. Well done all including the civil servants who were working behind the seen in the consulate.
