Lack of care to people's lives
It's that hectic time again when I have to deal with paper work related to Iraq, and I was expecting nothing but the usual disappointment of how the "system" works -Complete chaos-
I and other fellow Iraqis have made plans to fit this unpleasant trip to the consulate to renew our passports, taking days off work or even travelling all the way from other cities to arrive at the consulate and find out that the finger-print system was down and we had to come in at a different date.
Systems do glitch sometime which is absolutely fine. However, when such a thing happens there should be announcements to warn people either on a consulate official website -which does not exist- or by phone -which is impossible to get hold of- There was not even an apology to the applicants wasted time except for a very delayed "I'm sorry but it's not my fault" from the staff.
Please be considerate.
Regards,
Disappointed Iraqi

Female Genital Mutilation.
I am shocked to read that four million women and girls will be forced to have FGM in Mosul. I urge in your humanity tom prevent this from happening. Please treat Iraqui women with respect and kindness not brutality. I know you will do your best because at heart and soul you are good.

My kind regards
Mrs Annemarie King.

Lost passport
It is really a shame for Iraqi consulate when someone lost his passport , he has to wait for 5 months , yet no one answer his request ; whereas in any other country it takes no longer than several days to return back.
