Hi I am a matriculant in South Africa. I play indian classical music and it has and will always be my dream to study music in our mother land. Due to my families financial constraints it is difficult for me to get into a university of any kind. I see myself surrounded by people who are supportive and provide me with the motivation I require. I understand that in a country like South Africa it is unrealistic to make a living by teaching indian music. I appeal to the South African officials in India to award me a opportunity to study not only music but a additional course. I am a foreigner in South Africa and i applied for Indian visa from here. I just want to know if there are any other foreigners here that applied for Indian visa and how long it took them to get there Indian visa???They say 7 working days but do they take longer?

Please advise if all documents such as certified copies of ID and Passport has to still be signed by passengers.
This is causing a lot of delays in applying for visas. Another requirement is a signed proof of accommodation in India.
Need help in applying for OCI card.Do not know how to GO about it.I also like visit INDIA without the help of travel agents.Name places to stay.
