John- If it just expired, that passport is all you need to bring with you along with a money order from Western Union or Money Gram. If you are getting it for 5 yrs its $60 if you are getting it for 10 yrs its $75.

What do I need to bring in order to renew my passport?
Oscar: In order to request dual citizenship for a minor, the child has to be under 16 years of age. You must personally go to your nearest consular office and present two passport size pictures of the minor, the minor's birth certificate, and the parents need to present copies of their birth certificates and passport/Honduran issued ID.
At this time no mobile consulates have been scheduled.
