Applying for a new passport
I called this consulate in NYC today to ask if there was an online application that I can print to be better prepared for my visit. I asked the person who answered the phone and she robotically provided me with the information. In my effort to ensure that I correctly wrote the information she became so rude and nasty stating "Ma'am, how many times will I have to repeat myself?" I answered just once please but you do not have to be so nasty and rude to answer a relevant question? More to come based on my visit there soon. Just cannot imagine that with all these negative comments the consulate continues to allow customers to be treated in this manbet

I was at the consulate to renew my son and his two children passports my son went to pay the 300.dollars by credit card just to be told only cash couldn't there be a sign saying cash only.He had to go to the bank.which the teller told him it was just across the street, she should learn directions,it was across the street around the corner.when he got backhe had to join the long line once again. BECAUSE OF A SIGN.ONLY CASH.

Are you for real? Sad to see what we complain about, please find something better to do with your life.

UNSATISFACTORY CUSTOMER SERVICE
IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT A GUYANESE IS UNABLE TO GET ANY HELP AT THE GUYANA EMBASSY AND INFORMATION IS ALWAYS INCORRECT. WHERE SHOULD THEY GO?
EMBASSY STAFF MUST RECOGNIZE AND KNOW THAT THEY ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE GUYANA GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE. ARE THESE PEOPLE TRAINED? DO THEY GET ANY TRAINING COURSES? ANYONE FROM THE EMBASSY EVEN LOOK AT THE COMMENTS AND TRY TO PUT CORRECTIVE MEASURES IN PLACE. THEY STAFF STILL CARRY ON WITH THEIR OLD HABITS AND GUYANESE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THEM.
