Comments on this Consulate-General
Now all passport issue should be process in canada because the office cannot be found in New York it a shameful m/I/a
having an issue with your guyana passport??????
just change to a US passport trather than deal with these dum asses working at the consulate.
Its a shame we as Guyanese are treated when you call the Guyana Consulate the phone just keep ringing and no body is answering it.It been three weeks I have been trying to reach someone to get some information.I hope something could done about that problem.
Thank you.
I was wondering if I could use my passport to fly back to guyana so that I could renew it cause it expired. I am not a citizen up here yet so I don't have a US passport.
The insolence of the representative clearly shows that there are on there for the pay check and not to offer help and I am not sure who is looking at these blogs, evidently don’t know what they are doing or don’t know how to handle the situation, come on guys wake up!! You are being paid to do a job.
We are from a third world country but we are progressing slow but sure, i wonder if this is why the women at the U.S window are so rude, impolite and unprofessional it wouldn't take someone a lot for some to train these people.
I having been trying to call this office for three days in a row, the phone just rings contsantly and no one one picks up.I know that there are over ten employees working there, why is it no one answers the phone? Is this the norm at Guyana Consulate Offices ?
Why is nothing being done about this unacceptable situation? It is obvious this is an ongoing problem, from the numerous complaints on line.
Do the emplyees who work at the Consulate, not realize, they are there to represent Guyana, and are not in Guyana any more. Granted, for the most part, mostly Guyanese go there, or call. But this dose not mean they have to continue with same slow and don't care mentality as in Guyana! No business has a phone ringing non-stop. without a message saying something. The persons behind the counters are so rude, The young woman dresses so unproffesional. The case they have displaying items from Guyana are not displayed properly, and all old. This is such a disgrace
i want to know what i need to bring along to change my name on my guyana passport,i got married recently in New York ?, how much do i have to pay for the name change?, and if i will need a new passport ( i already have the machine readable passport with my US VISA in it).. email ann.sukhu@aol.com
