German Citizenship
Both my parents are German born. I was born in Canada 1964, my mother was a German citizen when I was born. I believe I may be eligible for German citizenship. I understand that I need to complete the Antrag F and Anlage V and supply supporting documents. Do I need to send originals, if so, will they send them back? Are there any other documents I must send in?

Income tax
Do immigrated Germans, who are retired, pay tax on old age pension money received from Germany and what is the minimum tax exemption?

German Passport Renewal
I am a Canadian P.R. & would like to renew my passport without the enormous costs involved to fly to Vanc. or Toronto. I was informed from Germany that I could arrange for a Passermaechtigung from Canada so I can have my Passport renewed in Germany while I am visiting there this summer. Please advise me what I must do to to make this happen. Thx.

Passport expiry
Good morning,

Just wondering. I am travelling to France October 11 to Oct 25th(tickets are purchased and confirmed) to visit family. Just going through my documents and see that my German passport expires April 12, 2017, I also have a permanent resident card which January 2 2020. I am worried now, could you please let me know?

My e-mail is pramsay@canadream.com
