Travelling/Driving
Hello,
I have been getting mixed results from people I ask. I am travelling to Berlin from Calgary and would like to rent a car. Will my AB Driver's Class 5 license be ok in Germany? Will I need to get it translated? Where do I go if I need something more?
Thanks!

German lady loves Calgary
I have a friend from Germany who has been in Calgary since October 2012, outside a 2 week departure last fall. She has come to really love it here. She had a year long "working tourist" visa, which expired last year. She was unable to renew it due to immigration policies, but she has been permitted to stay here as a tourist only. Immigration told her that she could get another working visa on the condition that she find an employer that could hire her first. It is a complicated chicken and egg issue as some employers will not hire her until she has a working visa. My friends and I have come to adore her and very much want her to stay in Calgary forever. She wants to stay too, but she doesn't know what to do! Now, she is facing the reality of being forced out of the country by mid March since her tourist visa is expiring and since she cannot get work to support herself. Her savings have run dry! She may not be able to return for several more months or years! We are praying that somehow a miracle solution comes into being ASAP! We just can't bare the idea of her leaving us! She is talented and loving and our community is at a great loss without her!

Visitor Visa to Germany
Dear Sir/Ma'am,

Good morning. I am looking for some guidance in applying for a visitor visa to Germany. My mother is on Parental Super Visa here. Is it possible to apply for a visitor visa for her? My brother lives in Germany. So she wants to go for a visit. Please guide me about the procedure for her visitor visa.

Thanks & Regards
Dhinesh
