Peter Greste Verdict
I feel the Egyptian Government has badly miss understood the severe reaction their country will suffer from ordinary people. I can not imagine any Australian visiting Egypt and endorsing the purchase of any Egyptian industries/goods within Australia until this unjust decision is overturned. I would imagine that most people from other countries not directly affected by its citizens being detained will also boycott Egypt. Lets hope the country sees reason a few people in power can make very bad decisions that can have far reaching effects for many years to come.

Absurd court ruling in regard to Peter Greste. No evidence, ridiculous trial. I will never visit your country, never buy anything your country makes or services delivered. Shame on your absurd judgement. In the eyes of the world Egypt looks a fool. Change your decision or see what world condemnation brings you.

It was good to hear your Consul-General is currently back in your home country, it would be a good idea if he were to stay there, as I see no reason why he should feel the freedom of living in Australia, while one of our citizens has had his freedom ripped from him by an unjust system in your home country.

Peter Greste Incarceration
Egypt has effectively declared war on Australia.
The injustice shown in the Peter Greste trial was deplorable. He is an honest man doing his job. The corrupt judicial system has damned him to suffer for no reason.
If the Egyptian Government persists with this farce there will be no tourists in Egypt for decades.
Egypt needs to think clearly what they want from the world and end the hideous political system that will deny them so many benefits in the short and long term.

No human rights no human dignity
More than 24 hours have passed since the cruel and heartless sentencing of three plus more Al Jazeera journalists. Twenty four hours of international shame for Egypt which will indeed last for twenty four years and more in the hearts of the free world. For those of us who love freedom there are millions more who despise us. We are the despised, we are the imprisoned in your dark and horrid world of secrecy, deceit and fear. Truth will prevail Egypt. It may take time but your judges, your leaders and your poisoned ideologies will be defeated.

Peter Greste and justice.
Ten thousand years ago, Egypt was mankind's guiding light towards civilisation. Today your nation leads the way back towards barbarity.

Please tell the leaders of your country to lift their game. The Egyptian people deserve better.
