Comments on this Consulate-General
Seven years for doing his job! Bloody disgusting, Egypt.
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH GOVERNMENT OF EGYPT....WILL BE DEFINATELY OFF MY TO DO LIST
This is an appalling decision and reflects terribly on Egypt. Peter Greste, Mohamed Fahmy and Baher Mohamed should be released - why on earth are they even in gaol?? There is not one compelling reason. The world is watching....!!!
To whom-it-may-concern,
Australia begs you to reconsider the very severe verdict and sentence given to Peter Greste. Egypt needs to know that by first world standards the trial was a farce.
Sincerely yours,
Ms Anastasia Tsitsioka
Absolutley appauling lack of justice has been demonstrated here by a clearly backward corrupt reigeme.
I feel sorry for the people of Egypt.
What a corrupt and warped judicial system you have to convict a man with NO EVIDENCE.
I will NEVER travel to Egypt and encourage my friends to have the same view. I hope your country suffers due to this unjust ignorant decision. This reflects badly on all Egyptians.
Egypt has made Journalism illegal, by the incarceration of Peter Greste. Tell me why all Australians shouldn't boycott Egypt in their travels, and any other country for that matter. Freedom of speech is not so free in Egypt. Let the world change you mind for you. via social media, aid and trade? Freedom of speech will prevail
Let the Egyptian Government know your disgust email the Egyptian Ambassador - Embassy.canberra@mfa.gov.eg

I won't be visiting your country, and like others here I will actively boycott Egyptian products. Do you realise what this ruling is telling the world about your country? Do you care?
