Visa
I will be travelling to Croatia at the end of August and have a Schengen visa which is applicable for the full duration of my stay including the time I will be spending in Croatia. According to your website holders of a valid schengen visa willl not need to apply for a Croatian visa
Can you confirm if this is correct

Kind regards

You can enter Croatia on a Schengen visa
http://za.mfa.hr/?mh=331&mv=4388

I'm on a SA passport, but live in London with a Schengen visa. I've been to Croatia before and usually keep an eye on this website - their information is reliable. This is the latest note on the Republic of Croatia's website:

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Pursuant to the Government’s decision, from 1 January until 31 December 2013 all aliens holders of valid Schengen documents do not require an additional (Croatian) visa for entry and short-term stay in Croatia.
Aliens who are holders of:

residence permits issued by one of the Schengen Area member state
uniform visas (C) - valid for all Schengen countries or
long-stay visas (D) issued by one of the Schengen Area member state
temporarily do not require a visa for entering and stay for transit through the territory of Croatia.

Croatia entry on Shengen visa?
I am a holder of a South African passport, but live in Dubai. I am traveling with a multiple entry Shengen visa. Do I need a separate visa for Croatia, or can I enter it with the Shengen visa?
Please advise urgently, as I am currently in Europe and are planning to go to Croatia in a week.
Thank you.
Kind regards
Dalene

Schengen Multiple Entry Visa- Need for Croatian Visa?
I will be spending more time in Croatia than in other Schengen countries.

1.Does Croatia issue multiple entry visas, and
2.Will a mutiple entry Schengen visa allow me entry to Croatia?

Same question as lots above- Visa for Croatia needed with multiple entry Shengen?
We are going on a cruise in September and my travel agent said that recently they were thinking about making it compulsory in July for a separate Visa for Croatia, but that they have changed it so that up until the 31/12/13 you are allowed to enter Croatia so long as you have a valid multiple-entry Shengen Visa. I am still a little worried as the Greek consulate who i want to apply through for the Visa require that any other visas needed for the trip be applied for BEFORE we apply through them for the Shengen. I would love some confirmation about the Croatian Visa before I go and make an appointment with them only to be told I have been given incorrect information. Thanks

Visa requirements
We have booked a cruise and will be visiting Dubrovnik and Split in August. We will have a multiple entry Schengen visa. Do we require a separate Croatian visa as well? It will help if you could post the answer on your web site as I see it has been asked many times!

Visa query regarding Croatia's ascension into the EU
Hello

I am a half South African, half Croatian living in Cape Town, South Africa. My father and his entire family are Croatian.

I am going to Europe at the end of the year, visiting multiple countries and Croatia.

I have recently heard that Croatia is going to be in the EU from the 1st of July.

I need to know whether if I get a Croatian passport once it is part of the EU, will that allow me to travel European countries that are in the EU freely?

Would it be best to apply for a Croatian passport before or after it is accepted into the EU?

Kind Regards,
Vinko
