Status ng Visa ko
Kami sa husband ko nagpasa ng application noon pang Mar 2013. Buti sana dahil after submitting both our applications, we immediately received the response from the embassy about 11-12 days lang. Only, we were required to submit for medical exams which we had it at the Cebu Doctor's Medical Arts building on the scheduled date of April 3-4/13. My husband was required to have a repeat exams on his urine and blood sugar as he is a diabetic. The doctor told me that my exams are all ok and nothing to worry about. But after 1-wk, I was required to have a repeat exams on sputum because something has to be clarified. Middle of April/13, I had it performed on the same hospital & was advised to wait for another 2-mos for its results.
But my husband's approved visa was already forwarded after only less than a month after our medical exams. On my part, after 2-mos, I was advised to go back to Cebu (as I am from Dumaguete City), for another x-ray in view of the negative results of my 3-day sputum exams. I questioned why a negative results need to have a repeat x-ray, but accordingly, that is the procedure due to its negative results. Again, I had my repeat x-ray on July 2 or 3/13. The result was still favorable and they told me everything is already okay and was already sent to the Canadian Embassy of Mla. But I was wondering why on the same month, I received another urgent letter from same Embassy for a furtherance medical exams. I informed the Cebu doctors' hospital where my exam was performed about it, but they told me to disregard it as my medical reports were already sent to the embassy and may have been received late, further advising me to just wait for any call from the embassy regarding my visa. My husband have already departed for Canada,(having had his permit to travel already issued by DOJ, as he is working at the Prosecutors' Office in our place), instead of us to be together, on the agreement that I'll just follow. I wrote a letter of inquiry to the Canadian Embassy of Mla, as to the status of my visa, tried to call, but in vain for there was no one to take my call (than a machine at the other end) nor did I receive any response to my letter thru their PO Box No. where I got from the envelope they previously sent me, as urgent. I don't anymore know how to contact them, as the address posted on their website could not be contacted, & I got no single response from them. My husband has already decided to go back home and is now here with us, wondering what happened to my visa because till now, I got no information about it. I have provided in my letter all the necessary details of my application, but still there was no response. Can anyone out there or anybody from the Canadian Embassy helped me "how to reach out for their Office or how to get information as to the real status of my application or visa, if any"? Pls help me...
Thanks.- Daniel Mae
