How long do it take to get a feed back from the embassy upon submission of the requirements for application of tourist visa?

It felt so depressing that my documents were returned from CIC- Nova Scotia, the occupation list that I was applying for reached it quota. I need to have an offer of employment to be considered and reprocess my dreams of settling in Canada.
