Comments on this Embassy

my aunt from austria asked me to send my school credentials to your office for seal just a proof that my credentials are approved by your office as a requirement by my future employer in austria..is this available in your office? how much?
This answer is intended for Joy. Hi Joy if you already have a schengen visa issued from another EU country that is valid within the tour period then you DO NOT NEED A VISA. However if you do not have a schengen visa yet then YOU NEED TO APPLY at the Austrian Embassy in Manila for a tourist OR also called Schengen Visa. This is because of two reasons 1) Austria is your first country of Entry 2) You will stay longer in Austria compared to the other countries so this will be considered as your Main Country of Destination. Goodluck to you! Austria is a very nice country to visit :)
It's unbelievable that a lot of the posts here are asking for what are the requirements in applying for a tourist visa with invitation letter. The answer is in the PDF that you can download when you go to the Visa section of the Austrian Embassy in Manila Website. Even requirements for the working visa is stated there. I understand why the Embassy is not replying on such questions with obvious answers accessible through the website because it's simply a waste of time on their part to answer each and everyone of you when they already posted the answer in the website. Please exert a little effort in checking before asking or before sending any queries to the email of the embassy. Not everything will be given to you in a silver platter. This also applies to the one who wants to enter AUT using a tourist visa and eventually work there, my advise is as soon as NOW you should learn to be resourceful because Austrians are not that patient enough to cater to such whims. The only valid question in this forum is for the one who is asking for a list of accredited translators and Kudos to you! because the answer cannot be found in the website.
