My husband is in Johannesburg on business and while there he was robbed 2 days ago 7/9/2013 of his money and passport. The police have done nothing and my husband is claiming neither is the American Embassy because he was not born in America like I was. He is an American citizen and needs your assistance in getting back to Georgia. I expect a response soon or I will take this to my Congressman.

My USA visa which expires in 2016 is in my old passport. Do I have to start applying from scratch for another one? I am living in Pretoria and where should I go for my application? Since many people share the same problem, can't you make the solution public so that we don't have to be repeating the same thing over and over?
my Fiance travelled to SA late last month to purchace goods for resale in the USA
he has compleated sales transaction n goods are ready to be shipped from Durban (car parts n scrap)he has paid over 67k for the goods
on organising to trade with this company he was told it would be a 4 day turn around .... he is still there
the hotel is costing us $90 / night 4 him to stay in
the extended hold up with the supplier has exhausted our money n he is unable to clear goods 4 shipping home or leave the country till they go ....... we need help n dont see any way out pls advise what we can do
i have a new passport, as my old one is full. How do i go about to transfer my american visa, which only expires in 2020 to the new passport?

On the 24 of August my husband and I applied for visas at to visit the US. We've planned to visit our children in December 2012.Mine was approved immediately but my husband received another form,which he had to complete. He was informed that they will contact him,but if he doesn't hear anything by the end of 1 month he has to contact them. He didn't hear anything and after many phone calls and emails he was told time and again it is still under administration. We are now waiting for 5 months. I had a big back operation and can't travel on my own. Our son and daughter in law are staying in Houston in the US. We are 65 and 66 years old and both pensioners. We are staying in Lydenburg(Mashishing)for the past 31 years. My husband worked at Xstrata Lydenburg for 29 years and resigned at the age of 65. We are staying at the same residense for 31 years,my husband has no criminal records. This is really a big problem and I will appreciate it if you will look into this matter and send me an email. My student Visa was approved on 18 June and up to date I have not received a waybill number, and has also not received an answer after placing query on the website. I do not know what my next step is to be to be able to pick up my visa.Please contact me on mmv5@pitt.edu
During the interview i was advised that I could enter USA 30 days before I need to report to college for international orientation. Orientation starts 15 Aug and I will like to depart asap
I have a new passport - changed my name but my surname is still the same, my visa is still valid, but under the old name what should I do or pay to get the visa in my new passport with my new name
