PLEASE HELP ME TO WENT TO U S A ON DAY
My friend was on his way out of Accra bound for Penn, after much hardship, via theft, etc in Accra, he managed to get a flight out for this past Sunday, he was stopped by immigration because his Visa had expired for abit. The immigration officer wanted $8000 dollars to let him go or he goes to court. Well suffice to say he goes to court on Wednesday and lets hope the Judge is compassionate enough to just put him on his proper flight. Africa anywhere is the most corrupt country in the world. I would advise NO ONE TO EVERY GO THERE. I have heard of many horror stories come out of that country.
How can a man work and build bridges for the government of Ghana when he is a scammer taking women money online? Also how can the government send his family fake checks for the work that he does over there. Is the government of Ghana part of the scamming going on in their country.
I traveled to Ghana with my wife in November 2011. We had $8000.00 in travellers checks. After we were there for three days we went to the bank to change some money and we were told that they ddon't change travellers checks. After checking with several banks we went to Barclays Bank where we were told that they only change $100.00 a day. For goodness sake what can you do a day with $100.00 in Ghana as a tourist. Is there anyway American Embassy can put this on their warning sight for travellers to Ghana, to be aware of what might happen to them if they travel to Ghana with a Travelers checks and they cannot change them. At least travellers will find another that they can manage their travelling expenses to Ghana.

This sounds just like Evans Vaslover or some of the men that are helping him with this scan. All together I receved about 150,00.00 worh of bad checks suppose to be from the Ghana government where he was working to build a bridge. My banker told me that the checks were no good . All the checks arrived by federal express. He claimed that he could not cashed his checks over in Ghana. Just be carefully when you meet these people.
