I have received several emails from Ambassador James Entwistle telling me I was awarded a large sum of money asking me to pay an upfront fee. How can I tell if it is genuine or scam?

It is absolutely a scam. Almost any time someone tells you that you must give them some money before you can receive some money, you are being scammed. Doubly so if the person is someone you have never met before.
